POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN SPACE, BUSINESS AND LAW
CONTEXT
The Chair SIRIUS (University Toulouse-Capitole) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher with a PhD in Law, with outstanding commitment to research and expertise in Space Law, Business Law and Competition Law. The topic of the post-doctoral fellowship is: “Space Activities – Politics, Law and Legal Practices”.MISSION
The post-doctoral fellow will address methodological and practical challenges related to the following issues: Conquest of Space (From Mastering to Managing); Economics of Space (Investing in Space Activities); Space Market (Access to market, Access to Infrastructure); Space Geopolitics (Dependency on Space Activities); Space Eco-Ethics (New Legal Mechanism for Future Space Activities).PROFILE
Holds a PhD in Law (or be close to completing it) Less than 3 years of experience after the PhD Expertise in Space Law, Competition Law, Business Law Strong background in International and Comparative Law Have excellent qualifications as well as outstanding own research Excellent proficiency in English. French language NOT requiredAPPLICATION

Expected starting date is 1st December 2024 – 1st January 2025. Duration of the contract is 18 months (6-month extension possible).
